Amanda Sauer is an artist and educator with a background in environmental research. She has won several grants, awards, residencies and commissions, including 2019 and 2020 Artist Fellowships from the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and has exhibited nationally in group shows including WPA Options Biennial and Flashpoint Gallery in DC. Her work is included in the DC ArtBank 2018 and 2019 collections.

Amanda has a MFA in Photography and Film from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BA in economics from Cornell University. She is an adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College. Amanda lives in Washington D.C. with her husband and three children.
